Come and attend the Roman Day on Zaplana, where the heritage of the roman barrier system claustra Alpium Iuliarum will be presented.

A varied program is waiting for you: creative workshops for children, re-enactment of Roman military life and Roman cuisine.

You will experience life in the Roman camp as it was 1,700 years ago! We will show you ancient crafts, military equipment, clothing and everyday objects. You will discover roman cuisine, jewellery and fashion. Children will be able to participate in legionary training, weave laurels wreaths or create their own Roman coin.

You will relive the ancient times through Roman games or watch the documentary about Claustra.

On this occasion you will be able for the first time hike along a new thematic route along the archaeological remains of the wall, accompanied by Roman legionaries (assembly at 9:30 at Gostišče Mesec).
