Join us on a one-day study trip along Claustra, and get to know part of the rich history and culture of the area in which we live – on the Slovenian and Croatian side.

We will set out on an interesting excursion on Wednesday, 20th November 2019 at 9:00 am from the parking lot Dolgi most in Ljubljana. Throughout the trip, we will discover different locations of the late Roman barrier system CLAUSTRA ALPIUM IUALIRUM, which protected the Roman Empire between the 3rd and 5th century. The magnificent system stretched all the way from present-day Rijeka in Croatia to Baška grapa in Slovenia.

The event is organized in the framework of the project CLAUSTRA+, Cross-border Destination of Cultural and Green Tourism Claustra Alpium Iuliarum, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) (Programme Interreg V-A SI-HR).
